I asked my mom and dad if I could have a printer, external hard drive and a tablet for christmas. I guess I'll have to wait and get the tablet for my birthday. i love my new printer and hard drive though! Its a western digital 1 tb drive and a kodak printer. i already backed up all my files, but i haven't cleard my pc yet. i dont have any photo paper yet, so i will have to wait to see how good my printer is. i know it will b wonderful though. I got a pair of warm boots too, from my boyfriends family. I haven't worn anything else sinse i tried them on. i love them!

I have discovered a new skill too. most of you know that i started DA with coloring digitally, then found origami stars. next came polymer clay, and now i know how to make books. My christmas gifts this year were to give all my family members a jar of stars. next year (2010) i plan on having made a book for everyone. i may cheat a lil and just buy a hardbacked notebook and cover it, but hopefully i will have time and money to make them comepletely handmade.

i know i haven't uploaded anything in a while and i'm going to try to fix that shortly. right now i have to go to sleep, ( its 1:15 am) but maybe tomorrow afternoon i can upload some things.

I dropped my computer Monday! It was in its case and I put it on my shoulder to walk out of my Psy. class, then the strap broke as soon as I stood up!!!

I soooooo hate myself right now! I got to my next class as quick as I could, and slowly pulled my precious laptop from its case. It had fallen onto its side, where the cd drive is. My cd drive was poking out a lil farther than it should have been. I knew it was dead! I hit the power button just to be sure, and it came on! I even got online for a moment. It looks like it just got jolted. My screen is ok, and the laptop still works fine. I put it in the repair shop anyway though just to make sure its ok. $45 for a diagnostic check is ok eith me, and I hope that it will be ok. Hopefully I won't have to replace anything. I wish that the guy fixing it could fix the cosmetic damage too though. It's gonna kill me seeing those splits every day from now on. It split on the top part that holds the screen, and the vent where my fan is is pushed out too. I sooooooooooooooooo hate this! I feel so stupid for being so careless. That case has been so wonderful too. Its a side loading case, which is probably the whole reason my laptop is busted right now.

Its gonna be a while before I get it back, and I'll be in agony until I see that its ok again. I just hope that none of my programs or files have been destroyed. I don't have an extenal hard drive, so everything is on my laptop. I emptied my jumpdrive onto it too, so I really do have everything on it!

When I get it back I will let everyone know, until then I'm without any art programs, so its just me and my stars for now.

Ok, so a few days ago I found out how to change the color of an eye. Now I can't stop. I'm uploading these in the order I did them (as best I can remember) so please feel free to comment on any of them. The first one is my favorite, but I couldn't remember how I did it, so I've been doing more and more trying to get it right. Anyway, I hope yall like them.

ok, today i made my first animation. i couldn't figure out how to save it and still make it work. my cousin tess helped me there, thanks girl! I'm kind of a newbie at a lot that photoshop offers. i usually only manipulate photos, but i've really become interested in all the possibillities photoshop cs3 has to offer. i like the digital art pieces like boribaby's works. i know she uses a tablet and i'm really wanting one for my birthday. right now every time i try something like that it comes out as if i drew it while riding in a car, i use the touchpad on my laptop. it sucks trying to draw like that!

Anyway, just got really stiked about my animation actually working. THANKS TESS!
